Malignant melanoma diagnosis is possibly one of the most heartbreaking situations to be in. Many people do not know they have melanoma until it is too late. Malignant melanoma is harmful to the existence of a person and if not caught in the first stages within the first year, chances of survival decrease up to about twenty or more percent.

If your doctor tells you otherwise, you may want to consider getting a second opinion if you are not comfortable with it.
